Features

Intoxicating Beauty

Inspired by the beauty and symbolism of the Red Spider Lily, also known as Higanbana (彼岸花) in Japan. The intricate Higanbana inlay itself took 2 whole weeks of careful carving, allowing many details to be discovered.

Macassar Ebony Top

The top is a piece of Macassar Ebony, carefully chosen, positioned and carved at certain parts to depict Sanzu River, a fitting background for Higanbana.

Custom Pickup and Cover

The custom pickup cover is also inlayed. It allows the Inlay to be positioned at an optimal position without having to "avoid" the pickup and the pickup could be positioned where it's tonally optimal.

The pickups underneath is a custom over wounded humbucker, great for achieving growly and powerful tone.

Body and Backwood

The body is a careful combination of Spruce, Nyatoh and Ebony. The Spruce allows for a large sounding bass without adding too much weight, to compensate for its softer nature, we sandwiched it between two Macassar Ebony top/back wood to focus its tone and prevent denting.

The backwood has also been decorated in various methods to give a feeling of being "underwater". Take a close look in person and discover each of its details.
